Masonry repairs

As a chimneys mortar crown begins to crack up it allows water to penetrate the cavity of the chimney. In winter the freeze thaw cycles begins to destroy the chimney from the inside out. Also results in brick spalling(When the faces of the bricks begin to flake off).

At this point usually tuck-pointing is no longer an option, and the chimney will have to be rebuilt.

All of our rebuilds are done to code and include a concrete cap that is 5" thick with an 2" overhang. We also spesialize in brick and mortor matching/staining.
